We are pleased to announce that our next site visit will be to Mayfield Watford, in Hertfordshire – an Integrated Retirement Community (IRC) by Audley Group.

The new development close to the centre of Watford provides 255 homes along with a range of communal facilities. The scheme was granted planning permission in 2018 and launched in 2022 and is Audley Group’s first mid-market IRC.

The site lies within the Watford Health Campus Masterplan, a 26.5ha brownfield site that is being redeveloped to house a new hospital, alongside business, retail and leisure uses, and around 700 new homes.

This will be our first site visit to a retirement community, and attendees will receive a short presentation on the challenges of delivering a scheme of this type followed by a tour of Mayfield Watford.  No PPE is required.
