Planning Futures Supper Club – Toby Lloyd
Toby Lloyd is one of the UK’s most widely respected housing experts.
He was head of policy at Shelter from 2011 until 2018, and Special Advisor to the then Prime Minister from 2018-2019.
In 2017, along with Josh Ryan-Collins and Laurie Macfarlane he authored the book Rethinking the Economics of Land and Housing, which explored the relationship between land economy and housing policy, and outcomes, in the UK.
Mr Lloyd now works as an independent housing consulting.
Following the usual Supper Club format, Mr Lloyd will give a brief after dinner speech outlining his view on how the planning and housing sector will need to change in the coming years in order to ensure that we deliver the housing that the country needs and that all are adequately housed.
