Planning Futures

Planning Futures is delighted to join with Pure DC, to offer members a briefing and site visit at Pure Data Centres Group's LON01 campus at Staples Corner, one of London's most significant new data centre developments.

With data centres now designated Critical National Infrastructure and central to the Government's growth agenda, planning authorities across the country are receiving more proposals for these large and complex schemes. Many practitioners have yet to deal with one.

This visit is a chance to understand what these developments involve and how they can be delivered successfully. The briefing will look at how the LON01 scheme was taken through the planning process with Brent Council. It will cover the key issues raised along the way, including design, biodiversity, energy and local impact, and the lessons for local authorities, consultants and developers. Attendees will then be given a guided tour of the operational DC01 building and the event will end at 1pm.

Max 20 places. Strictly First come, first served and one place per organisation.
For site security, names must be registered in advance and photo ID will be required on the day.
